A pub with real history and heritage as it was a regular of Dr Samuel Johnson, who invented and wrote the first dictionary. The Library, where he used to relax has now been converted into a pool room. The pub is also listed in the Doomsday Book, courtesy of its post box, which is still in use today. The Nags Head is within easy reach of Lichfield Cathedral, and also the famous Cannock Chase preservation area, which is ideal for walking and observing wildlife. The Nags Head also offers a Sunday Carvery.
